What's the cancelation policy?

90-Min Crash Course

With at least 48 hours notice before your class starts you may reschedule your session for another available date, or cancel for a refund.

If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before your class is scheduled to take place or do not show up, you will be subject to a penalty fee of charge the cost of the class, $75 per participant.

Workshops &Events

Please note all workshops and events are non-refundable. If you find yourself unable to attend and would like to gift your session to someone else, kindly notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled class date and time.

Private Events

Cancellations and rescheduling made two or more weeks in advance of the event date, will receive a 50% refund. Any cancellations made two weeks prior the event date are nonrefundable. If you are rescheduling your event please do so, two or more weeks prior to your scheduled event. Please note that once you have booked a private event with us, we have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you and your friends. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Multi-Week Classes

By enrolling in our class, you agree to our cancellation policy, which is as follows:

We are unable to provide any of these options after the 48-hour period or if your session has begun, for any reason, including COVID, illness, injury, or unexpected travel.

What's included with the monthly beginners course?

When you sign up for our monthly beginners course, you will receive 5 lessons all which teach the foundations of throwing on the wheel, trimming and glazing. All tools and clay will be at your disposable during your sessions. At the end of the course we will glaze all of your pieces.

What if I miss a class?

Due to the structure and times of the class, we will not reschedule or refund the course if a class is missed.

What do I need to bring to class?

Clay and tools are included! Just wear clothes you are comfortable getting clay on, and shoes that are suited for the studio environment. 

 

How do I sign up for classes or membership. In person, or online?

We ask that you sign up through our website at www.cone6ceramics.com

What does the 90-Min Crash Course include?

A 90-minute wheel, hands-on, throwing 101 crash course.You get a 30-minute demo showing the steps to throw on the pottery wheel (ex: centering the clay, forming the bottom, making a pull, shaping the piece and 15 min clean-up time). Each student receives three balls of clay to create a masterpiece, at the end of the class you may decide to keep one or all pieces made.

When will my piece(s) be ready?

Your pieces will be ready to be picked up 3-4 weeks after your class session.

How long do you hold onto pieces? 

We will hold your pieces for one week after we send out an email telling you your pieces are ready for pick up.

​

What are the age requirements?

13 and up, for any wheel crash course or 5-week beginners wheel throwing class.

Our hand building workshops are for anyone ages 9 and up.
